Identifying and Assessing Needs

  • Meeting with Parents

  • Teacher Assessments

  • SEND Assessments, including: GRT II (Group Reading Test II - NFER Nelson); BPVS (The British Picture Vocabulary Scale); ‘Fresh Start’ diagnostic test and assessments; The BOXALL Profile (Nurture Group Network), DILP (Dyslexia Institute Literacy Programme)

  • Liaison with Local Authority specialists

  • Liaison with outside Agencies, e.g. CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services), CDC (Child Development Centre), CHUMS (Child Bereavement and Trauma Service/Emotional Wellbeing Service)
